Grove GMK 5200 tackles challenging storm tank lift in Bury

John Sutch Cranes' powerful Grove GMK 5200 recently demonstrated its exceptional capabilities at a civil engineering project in Bury, where our team expertly recovered excavation equipment from a large circular storm holding tank.

The images we took on the day show our famous yellow and blue brand colours of our crane positioned strategically alongside the deep concrete storm tank, with its extended boom reaching over the circular structure.

It was a picture perfect lift delivered by the best.

While our crane operator was busy in the cabin on the levers, our expert team on the ground including our Appointed Person, Supervisors and Slingers, coordinated the operation as the images perfectly show the crane preparing to lift an excavator from inside the concrete chamber.

The project was part of ongoing work with a valued civil engineering client for whom John Sutch Cranes has completed numerous successful lifts over the years.
