John Sutch Cranes has welcomed a brand new Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1 crane to its expanding fleet as the business continues its commitment to innovation.

The North West based company, with depots in Merseyside and Manchester, landed the multi-million pound purchase this week, with the 450 tonne mobile crane expected to be operational within a fortnight.

The Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1 becomes Sutch’s largest crane in its 34 strong fleet thanks to its impressive mobility and hoisting capabilities using a fully extended 85m telescopic boom, plus its 84 mt2 lattice jib.

The flagship LTM 1450-8.1 is a game changer for the business and its portfolio of jobs, with the new addition making the toughest of lifts easy - tackling any terrain and construction challenge.

Liebherr is renowned in the crane industry for its state-of-the-art technology and incredible lifting power. The introduction of the LTM 1450-8.1, with its immense reach, precision control, rapid setup, and comprehensive safety features, is set to bring a new dimension to Sutch's extensive fleet.

John Sutch, John Sutch Cranes business owner and Managing Director, said: “We're thrilled to announce our latest addition to the fleet, the Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1.

“This investment underlines our commitment to delivering efficiency and precision to our clients. With its remarkable lifting power and versatility, the Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1 opens new horizons for our construction capabilities.

“Everyone at John Sutch Cranes is excited to see this cutting-edge equipment on our projects, ensuring that we continue to meet and exceed our clients' expectations.”

The Liebherr isn’t the only significant investment Sutch’s has plunged into the business, which operates UK wide.

The company has invested millions of pounds into their fleet as part of its innovation strategy.

John Sutch added: “We’re dedicated to innovation and excellence in the construction industry. The LTM 1450-8.1 is the tip of the iceberg.

“We have revolutionised our fleet with a multitude of new cranes, trucks, vans, tractor units and Hiabs. Our depots in Bootle and Dukinfield, Manchester, have also received big improvements. It's all part of our ongoing dedication to ensuring our family business not only thrives today but also continues to flourish in the future."
